Creative Group Supervision with Alison Hodge
2010
Starting in the Spring for a programme of six dates to be agreed throughout the year, for a group of six executive coaches. West London.
Association for Coaching Conference: Going Global
11-12 Mar 2010
Alison will be facilitating a session entitled "Creativity in Coaching Supervision Working with Imagery and Metaphor to find Coaching Solutions". Here's a brief synopsis of her session: Sometimes we find ourselves working with a client (coachee) who appears to have become "stuck" or "blocked" or indeed, we ourselves feel stuck in how to work with the client to help them to meet the aims of the coaching contract.
In this experiential workshop, Alison will work with the participants to tap into their own creativity and then explore some client situations using picture cards/symbols. By tapping into our imagination we may discover things in the client situation or in our own practice and process that may be helping or hindering the client to achieve their declared outcomes. More here.
EMCC UK Conference 2010
5-7 May 2010
Conference theme: The Changing Face of Coaching and Mentoring. Alison will be facilitating a session entitled "Have you ever wondered what to do or say? Developing our ethical awareness." Here's a brief synopsis of her session: Have you ever wondered what to do or say when you are coaching people in the same team or organisation? Ending the coaching relationship? Wondering whether to disclose confidential information to a third party? Facing a conflict of interest between client and sponsor?
In this highly participative workshop, you will be able to explore, discuss and debate some of the core issues that we face when coaching and mentoring. On behalf of the EMCC UK Ethics Committee, Alison will refer to the current Code of Ethics to help guide us as we tackle and resolve questions of ethical ambiguity, contractual terms and boundary management.
