A refreshing approach to facilitation

The book, From Contempt to Curiosity by Caitlin Walker, is a refreshing and fascinating approach to facilitation which uses systemic modelling and working with clean language and metaphor to enable learning and development.

Some of the themes Caitlin explores include how judgment and prejudice can impact on how we engage and respond to others who are different from us; what can happen when the facilitators invite and encourage difference into group settings, and how participants can become curious and engaged rather than ambivalent or ‘contemptuous’.
